PROCEDURES

Application

To apply for one or more of the workshops and/or photography tours, please print out, fill in, and sign the application form.

Acceptance

Applications will be accepted in the order received.   Upon acceptance into a workshop or a tour, you will receive a letter to this effect along with detailed information and suggestions for preparing for it.  If the workshop you requested is full you will be given the opportunity to enroll in another workshop that is still open, or to be placed on a waiting list and your entire deposit will be returned to you. If the tour is full you will be placed on a waiting list and your entire deposit will be returned to you.

Deposits, Cancellations, Refunds

Workshops

A deposit of ½ the workshop fee for the workshop desired (which includes a non-refundable $50 registration fee) should be enclosed with the application form.  Make checks or money orders (in United States funds only) payable to Elliot Framan Photography.  Credit cards are not accepted.  The balance of the fee for each workshop is due no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop.  If you do not pay the balance by this time, your place in the workshop as well as your complete deposit is forfeited, and your place will be filled from the waiting list.

If you need to cancel your participation in a workshop, we need to be informed of this no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop.  In this case your deposit or full tuition, whichever is applicable, will be refunded less the $50 registration fee.  If you withdraw within 30 to 14 days of the start of the workshop, the entire deposit of ½ the workshop fee will be retained.  No refunds of any kind will be made for withdrawal within 14 days in advance of the first day of the workshop, during the workshop, or for no-shows.
           
Photography/Cultural Tours (Except Israel - see below)

A deposit of 25% of the fee for the Photography Tour desired (which includes a non-refundable $75 registration fee) should be enclosed with the application form.  Make checks or money orders (in United States funds only) payable to Elliot Framan Photography.  Credit cards are not accepted.  The balance of the fee for the Tour is due no later than three months prior to the first day of the Tour.  If you do not pay the balance by this time, your place in the workshop as well as your deposit is forfeited, and your place will be filled from the waiting list.

If you need to cancel your participation in a tour, we need to be informed of this no later than three months prior to the first day of the tour.  In this case your deposit will be refunded less the $75 registration fee.  If you withdraw within one to three months of the start of the tour, the entire deposit will be retained.  No refunds of any kind will be made for withdrawal within one month in advance of the first day of the Tour.

Israel Tour

Travel arrangements for this tour are being implemented by Ayelet Tours, Ltd..  To make arrangements to join the tour contact either Elliot Framan Photography or D’vora Greenberg at Ayelet Tours directly, 1 (800) 237-1517 ext. 338, referring to the “Elliot Framan Photography Tour to Israel, October 21 through November 1, 2009”.  Ayelet will arrange Air Travel as well to assure all participants arrive in Israel at approximately the same time. 

Those interested in this tour will receive a special flyer with specific details covering signup for the tour, deposits, cancellation penalties, and use of credit cards for charging the trip, and miscellaneous costs and requirements.

Release of Liability

Participant hereby releases, waives, indemnifies, and agrees not to sue Argo Enterprises d/b/a Elliot Framan Photography, together with its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns from any and all liability to the Participant, his/her personal representative, heirs, assigns, and next of kin, for any and all losses, damages or injuries or any claim or demand on account of injury to the person or property of the Participant.  The Participant acknowledges that this hold-harmless clause is prerequisite to his/her taking part in any workshop or tour of Elliot Framan Photography.  Incorporated in this release are all terms and conditions stated earlier.  The extent of the Workshops and Tours liability is limited to the return of all fees paid.

Disclaimer
Elliot Framan Photography acts only as agent for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary.  We will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements.  However, we do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person and property because of an act of default of any hotel, airline carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services included in the tour.  The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or to substitute comparable service without notice.  The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any tour passengers should such person’s health or general deportment impede the operation of the tour to the detriment of the other tour passengers.
